Instant Happy Journal: 365 Days of Inspiration, Gratitude and Joy

“The Instant Happy Journal you now hold in your hands is filled with 365 different happiness prompters. Each one will inspire you in a variety of ways to be an awesome seeker – paying mindful attention to all the good people and good events your life is blessed with! (And mindfully reframing those less-good challenges.) With this Instant Happy Journal, day by day (or night by night) you will train your brain to focus on where the most inspiration, gratitude, and joy are to be found. Soon you will say farewell forever to a glass-half-empty mindset and say hello to a new awesome-seeker mentality.” – Karen Salmansohn

I am a huge fan of journaling. Writing, drawing, listing, and more, help me to get a good sense of where I am at a particular moment and allows me to craft a time capsule that reflects my thoughts and feelings. Often this can be a time consuming process with journal entries taking up pages and conveying in detail the most important moments in my life. With the Instant Happy Journal, though, the process is simplified and so enjoyable. The tiny journal with diverse prompts is a win all around. Each prompt is intended to give you insight into the best parts of your day and emphasize the happiest parts of who you are. With prompts like “What is something weird about you – that you love?” “Think of life as a competition with yourself to become extraordinary,” and “The first duty of love is to listen – Paul Tillich What are you telling yourself?” creativity is a must-have. Not all prompts are clear (and some are a bit confusing), but the emphasis on happy thoughts, positive perspective, and an optimistic outlook make this journal a joy to write in!
